We explored how anxiety is often connected less to the situation itself and more to what the situation represents emotionally.
Together we looked at:
• fear of judgment
• pressure and responsibility
• identity shifts
• emotional meaning-making
• unconscious nervous system associations
This week invited deeper self-understanding and compassion by asking:
“What meaning has my nervous system attached to this experience?”

Understanding Anticipatory Anxiety
This week has been about recognising the response.
Seeing it for what it is.
Noticing how often it appears, and how quickly we either override it or avoid it.
But awareness is only the beginning. Because underneath that physical reaction, there’s usually something deeper:
A belief.
An expectation.
