Harmony: Change from- to
Hello, My Friends
Do you want to live in harmony?
What has to change for harmony to be a part of your life?
You see, if we’re not feeling at peace within ourselves, something is out of harmony.
If something is out of harmony, the only way to get into alignment with the feeling we want to have, is to alter something.
And that something doesn’t have to be wrong, broken or bad for it to change.
The only requirement is how you feel about it.
If you have that uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach, then figure out what is making you feel uneasy and avoid it, seek out something that feels more like ease.
It’s that simple and it’s that difficult.
How often are we trained as children, to just do it, do it because you’re told to do it?
We are trained to mold ourselves to the normal behaviour of children, to fit in, to not be seen, to not stand out.
These are all avenues for disharmony.
What has to change for harmony to be the centre of your being?
Only you know the answer to this question.
We can give you clues, we can inspire you, we can challenge you, at the end of it all, you are the only one who can bring harmony to your life.
Harmony is a feeling, as such it will feel different for every person.
Some people find harmony in painting, others by being involved in sports, others find harmony in music.
These are all activities that flow from your core.
To begin to find harmony, we must find what is not harmony.
This is where our well trained brains love to play. The brain seeks out all the reasons why something is not working, all the ways that have potential to harm us.
The brain’s job is to keep us safe, and it’s interpretation of safe is to keep us where we are. In the known.
Moving to the unknown is dangerous to our brains, and it throws resistance at us. This is why change seems so difficult.
To find harmony, we must find what is disharmonious in ourselves. Awareness is the beginning of change.
Today’s question is… What has to change for harmony to be a part of your life?
Until tomorrow, Mull over the question, what has to change for harmony to be a part of my life? Then make a list of all the things you think of.
Your brain is very good at telling you what you need to change, what is not working for you, listen to it. Today.
Remember: We never beat ourselves up, over anything, all information is good. You are where you are and this is how it is. You now get to decide whether you like where you are or not, and what you want to do about it, if anything.
