As we learn to navigate our lives with integrity, we discover that learning to identify and move with our own inner wisdom is vital for a well lived life. Today we look at systems to give us power to let our true wisdom out.

When did you last question the systems and structures that operate in your life?

Welcome to Authentic Living with Linda
I’m Linda Codlin
Welcome, My Friends.
How much of our lives are lived like the ice berg that the Titanic ran into?
Unseen, unappreciated and undervalued, until it is met face to face, often in a time of distress.
Then the seemingly unseen, unappreciated and undervalued planning pays off, all the things that have been ticking over quietly in the background move into action.
This week I have been putting in place the systems that create the rhythms of my life.
They are mainly unseen, unappreciated and highly undervalued.
These systems are the structures, that should a distressful incident occur, give the guidelines on what, when, and how to proceed.
Operating systems and structures.
What systems and structures do you have operating in your life?
This is a question most of us don’t ask ourselves, we continue to do what we’ve always done, expecting a different result, then we get annoyed when nothing changes and we get the same result we’ve always had.
Intellectual systems and structures.
When we use our mind and brain to create systems that make sense for the life we think we want, we can inadvertently stifle the soul side of ourselves.
If we are doing an action because we think it will make us look good, or will have us fit in with the people around us, but isn’t true to our soul, we set ourselves up for internal conflict.
This internal conflict doesn’t stay buried, you see, our body knows what our soul really wants, it also knows that the brain, in it’s need to survive and be liked can misinterpret the information around us.
By misinterpret, I mean it uses unconscious bias to gather information, it unwittingly excludes anything that doesn’t fit with the current belief system being operated upon.
Often leaving our soul voice outside in the cold.
Soul systems and structures.
The soul has it’s own map, and it’s own compass.
Often it can feel at odds with where we think we need to be heading to get the results we want.
I have found that by listening to my soul prompts and acting on them, in the tiniest way I know how, stepping out in faith that something will appear.
I find peace in amongst the uncertainty of the direction.
Often something serendipitous will happen to guide me further along the path, or to shift gears into a different level.
Trusting your soul prompts, can speed up time, it can create shifts in your beliefs, which alter your life permanently.

Trusting systems and structures.
Trusting is a process.
It can be a decision, however I have found that I make a decision, then I get to choose to trust that decision and back myself or not.
The process of building trust takes time.
It takes patience and sometimes perseverance. It is a gradual process, for every action taken there is an internal dialogue to be had about how it went.
Trusting yourself to be open with your true soul feelings, empowers you to make more empowered decisions, to trust yourself a little more.
For me I had major trust issues. I didn’t trust other people, I didn’t feel safe with them. I didn’t trust my own intuition, I had been taught that I didn’t know what I wanted or needed. I believed that other knew better what was best for me.
To gain trust with myself, I began to ask my inner soul self what I was feeling and what I needed in the moment where I was standing.
Then little by little I began to acknowledge what I was feeling, all of it, the lovely, the angry, and the’NICE’ girlness.
I didn’t do anything with the feelings, I became aware of them, then I became a ware of the patterns that went with them.
I began to register, Oh, so every time so and so says, ‘You’d like this better than that’, while I was in the process of making a decision about something for me, I’d have a particular feeling. Learning that the feeling was indicating I was being told what I wanted and that I did not want to be told I did or didn’t want,. This allowed me to begin to trust that I knew what I really did want. So I could make the decision for what I wanted, and then follow the feelings from there to know if the decision was the best one for me at that time.
There is so much to trusting yourself, others and systems.
Educational systems and structures.
I am all for life-long learning.
Each of us have particular areas we are interested in, and when that area pops up in our feed, we just can’t help ourselves, we have to click into it and see what new idea, theory or revelation has been discovered.
This is what makes each of us unique, and it is what brings diversification to the human race.
My caution is, always check the validity of what is being taught, check with your soul and your emotions about the genuineness of the information and the people sharing it.
It is very easy for us to believe the printed or spoken word, and be led astray from the path of our soul desire.
Educational programmes that invite you to be yourself, to question what is being taught, that encourage you to think for yourself can help you create a balanced life.
Sometimes, the systems and structures of educating our youngest and most vulnerable minds and hearts do not include the very thing that is needed for a well-rounded life ahead. Institutes have a purpose, check out what the purpose of any institute is, before enrolling.
One short year learning the wrong kind of information mixed with harmful beliefs and soul messages can take a life-time to undo.
Once again I reiterate, life-long learning is great, be open to what comes your way, use your mind and soul to gauge what is best for you.
Operating systems and Structures.
Stimulating your brain with interesting facts.
Checking in on your feelings and emotions.
Educating yourself on what interests you, what will benefit you in the future and always being curious keeps you young at heart.
Begin to experiment with what you want in small ways. Set yourself up to build trust in yourself, little by little, until it becomes bigger by bigger.
Open yourself to your soul wisdom, learn to listen or feel or distinguish how it nudges you, then create trust in it by acting on the nudges, looking at the result, feeling how you feel, and monitoring your peace, harmony and fulfillment factors.
Until next time… What are your unseen, unappreciated, and undervalued systems and structures? I’d love to hear from you.
